Brown-Forman Senior Learning and Development Specialist in Louisville, Kentucky
Please note, there are three openings for this position supporting the following functions: Corporate Functions, Global Supply Chain and Technology, Senior Learning and Development Specialist- USA & Canada.
Meaningful Work From Day One:
Act as the Functional/Regional Learning & Development Senior Specialist by partnering with the L&D Director, and Functional HR Managers to diagnose people & organizational development needs and opportunities. Create and facilitate learning strategies and execute development plans. Plan, execute and measure effective, customized and timely learning and leadership development solutions to accelerate employee and team development. Be a regional expert in the disciplines of learning & development, performance management, change management, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
What You Can Expect:
At the Regional Level
Facilitator of regional and global functional learning & leadership programs
Diagnose regional/local development needs and consult with functional experts/stakeholders to execute and align globally
Deliver assessment feedback, this includes interpreting data from a broad range of assessment tools (including EQi, 360s), providing insights and co-creating development plans
Partner with HR Managers and Business Partners to identify, co-create and execute L&D initiatives
Track and measure regional learning activities and outcomes to provide ongoing learning and development analysis to help drive continuous improvement
Support the execution of team development and effectiveness initiatives
Research and evaluate best practices in Learning & Development and drive continuous improvement across the region
Support the design and delivery of regional/global programs across assigned Region/Function
Key regional user and gate keeper for the Learning Management System (LMS) – manage participants and content
Manage regional L&D budget and invoicing
Liaise with external vendors to ensure training needs are met
Provide project management support to Global Development Programs, including managing communications with participants and Regional Leadership Teams, logistical support
Regional learning event execution in partnership with Meeting Planning resource and HRBP
At the Global Level
Execute Leadership Development, Change Management, D&I and Performance Management activities that are related to the company-wide practices
Partner with VP Global Learning & Development Director to identify, develop and execute globally relevant initiatives
Partner with other L&D Leaders and Specialists to share learning and development innovations that inform the global people development strategy
We Are Looking For People Who:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an Organizational Development, Talent, or Learning & Development related role and experience working directly with commercial functions, for example in a business-facing HR role
Experience working with multicultural teams and with businesses that are in various stages of their development
Project management experience and strong organizational skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Ability to take ownership, handle and prioritize a high volume and varied workload independently in a fast-paced environment
High degree of independent judgment and initiative, in a team-oriented, self-managed and multicultural working environment
Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence others
Excellent virtual and in-person facilitation skills and solid consulting experience
Ability to use analytics to identify trends and insights about learning, leadership, and people development as well as to measure impact of interventions
Excellent computer skills, specifically Google, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and HR/LMS Technology such as Workday, Cornerstone
Vendor and budget management experience
As required, ability and readiness to travel regionally
What Makes You Unique:
Bachelor’s degree or similar with substantial HR experience at a specialist level
Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent i.e. CIPD
Certification to deliver specific interventions/assessments/training such as Predictive Index, EQi, Hogan, 360, Coaching, MBTI or other psychometric tools.
