Brown-Forman Sensory Coordinator in Louisville, Kentucky

Meaningful Work From Day One The Sensory Coordinator position supports Brown-Forman Global R&D projects by performing sensory product testing. This position supports areas including product development and production by providing accurate and timely sensory results that guide business decisions. The Sensory Coordinator is responsible for implementing sensory testing requests from internal customers, completing basic data analyses, and maintaining a record of results.

What You Can Expect

Takes sensory testing requests from internal customers and uses pre-established sensory testing methods to set up panels and conduct analysis under minimal supervision. Analyzes sensory testing results using established methods and maintains records of testing and results. Communicates results to R&D scientists. Follows defined procedures for product testing to support internal customers. Conducts and coordinates testing for assigned projects with supervision and ensures accuracy of reported data following established procedures. Responsible for preparation of samples and glassware for sensory testing, maintenance of sensory samples, and general upkeep of the laboratory. Manages a database of trained sensory panelists to ensure consistent attendance, performance, and engagement. Management includes panelist training, engagement activities, and communication.

We Are Looking For People Who

Associates or technical degree in a scientific discipline and experience working with basic laboratory techniques and procedures. Strong organizational skills. Database maintenance experience. Must be physically able to stand for extended periods and handle fragile laboratory instruments.
