Brown-Forman Temporary Finance Operations Accountant (Payroll/Timekeeper) in Louisville, Kentucky

This is a temporary position that is approved for up to one year. Hours will average 32 per week.

Scope:

Responsible for timekeeping / payroll processing for hourly population across B-F Distillery Operations.

Basic Function:

Responsible for gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and preparing payroll data for approximately 175 hourly employees on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely processing of hourly payroll for the BFDO organization on a weekly basis.

Must Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in general business operations; or equivalent education and experience combined.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in working with sensitive human resource information.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities while meeting established deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in interacting with vendors, hourly employees, visitors and outside interests involved in the cooperage industry.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous timekeeping experience

  • Exposure to Workday Human Capital Management software a plus.
