Brown-Forman Temporary Tour Manager - BF Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky
This is a temporary position through Brown-Forman's Reserve Power Department.
Responsible for activation of the new Brown-Forman Cooperage visitor experience. Host and orchestrate VIP, trade, and consumer visits to the BF Cooperage (including general ticketing, BTB program bookings, etc). Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate requests and provide premium visitor experience and manage the billback/payment process. Assist the Coopers’ Craft brand team in trade visitation and “homeplace” management. Aid the Homeplace Operations team, as needed, in general homeplace management activities and coordination or tours between the Cooperage, Woodford Reserve and Old Forester.
Execute premium visitor experience for VIP/trade/media groups, consumers, and barrel selection customers visiting the Cooperage. This includes tour room operations, pre-visit communications, booking, hospitality, leading tours, safety procedures, retail, and billing.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate Cooperage and multiple-homeplace visit requests (internal: sales, marketing, investor relations, corporate, BF meeting planning, Woodford Reserve and Old Forester homeplace counterparts, BF Cooperage team / external: Mint Julep Tours, consumer groups).
Utilize XOLA event software system for scheduling, billing, and tracking. Monitor visitor feedback, track and report guest counts and sales monthly.
Work closely with Homeplace accounting team to create weekly bill back invoices and other intercompany charge backs.
Provide event planning support to Master Distiller and Master Taster as needed to take care of these specific guests (trade, distributor, etc).
Assist the Director, Homeplace Operations, as needed, in general homeplace management activities, such as, subcommittee management, SOP development, social listening, and steering committee management, etc.
Weekly communication with various brand teams on tour bookings and other activities.
Excellent verbal and written communicator
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
Solution and action-oriented: Responds in a timely and effective manner to business issues and opportunities
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative environment as well as independently
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships
Literate with word processing programs (such as Word), spreadsheet programs (such as Excel), and presentation programs (such as PowerPoint).
3-5 years in the hospitality, and/or meeting planning industry.
Strong understanding of B-F culture and B-F Brand
Project Management Experience
Previous experience in collaborative team building and matrix environment
