Position Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain two Sequencing Batch Reactor systems

• Ensure proper operation of process water filtration and dewatering systems

• Conduct the daily operation and maintenance of the Tract II wastewater system including pH adjustment, polymer dosing, solids removal, and stream evaluation from bottling, processing, and barrel filling

• Maintain chemical residuals and conductivity in six cooling tower systems

• Perform calibrations and maintenance on all lab/test equipment

• Maintain all chemical feed systems for all process waters

• Maintain required documentation for state regulations

• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on all related equipment

• Report and schedule all repairs and maintenance

• Keep inventory of replacement parts, filters, pumps, chemicals, reagents, etc.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Monitor and document all influences to wastewater treatment plants

• Regulate stormwater runoff containment

• Maintain compliance with NPDES permit

• Fill in as needed for other Process Water Specialists

• Perform all necessary lab tests

Minimum Requirements :

• Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrate multitasking skills

• Ability to work flexible shifts throughout the week as needed including weekends, holidays, and overtime

• 3+ years’ experience in industrial water treatment operations

• Grade II Wastewater Operator Certification but be obtained within the 18 month training period.

• Candidates must be willing to learn and conform to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual

Preferred Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Education with emphasis in Science, Chemistry, Biology, etc.

• Advanced knowledge of Sequencing Batch Reactors and all related equipment
