Job Description:

North UK - Field Based

Scope:

To deliver the Key Performance Indicators for the Brown-Forman (BF) brands in the North. Working with Bacardi Brown-Forman (BBF) Field Sales and BF Trade Marketing, deliver the brand and sales objectives for the North ‘Independant on-trade’ territory. Line Manager of Area Experiential Manager and Management of Northern ‘Friends of Jack’ Ambassadors.

Basic Function:

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Brown-Forman KPI’s for the North Territory

  • Area to cover Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield

  • Define and target the most influential outlets in the North via BBF FSF

  • Create and Deliver the BF winning in Key Cities Plans

  • Understand and support the highest volume driving outlets in the North

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with BBF Sales

  • Promotional Sales Agreement Sign off for over increased investment levels

  • Support negotiations and tender documents for key trade accounts

  • Manage ‘Friend Of Jack Ambassadors’ forNorth

  • Liaise closely with wider North team -Trade Ambassadors, Brand Ambassadors, Field Sales Managers, RTM Account Managers, MPO Managers

Leadership of Activation Manager:

  • Recruit, Manage and Develop Activation Manager North

  • Support the Activation Manager in order to achieve the following:

  • Brand Forward activation's such as Live Music Venues

  • Account Forward activation's such as contracted spend in line with Brand Guidelines

  • Visibility and Distribution of High Value Branded Items

General Business Expectations:

  • Create brand advocates and infect key influencer's with a passion for our brands

  • Aligned communication with BBF Area Manager North and support team with regular field visits

  • Represent territory at BF Sales meetings and profile to wider business

  • Present brand activity at BBF area sales team meetings

  • Maintain and update territory strategy document

  • Conduct field visits and trade tours on territory

  • Host Customer and Sales Team Home place Trips

  • Attend relevant events and activities on territory

  • Ensure responsibility is a key consideration within all activity

  • Ensure BF Brand integrity is never compromised

  • Maintain and shares up to date market knowledge/ competitor insights from North region.

Must Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Track record of Field Sales Successes

  • Exposure and understanding of the on trade

Preferred Experience:

  • Regional/ Key account management

  • People management

  • Beverage Industry Experience
