Meaningful Work From Day One

This is an exciting role within the commercial team, accelerating Brown-Forman UK’s business and brand goals by leading the development, training and activation of the brand advocacy programme for Brown-Forman’s portfolio in the UK. You will establish effective and trusted business partnerships with B-F’s key customers as well as a variety of internal stakeholders, including the brand teams, trade marketing and sales to influence point of service, brand recommendation to drive consistent and exceptional presence of our iconic brands.

What You Can Expect:

Trade Specialist

• Trend spotting & innovation

• Explore and identify new types of on trade and convert bars/bartenders who are not yet promoters of BF brands

• Assist in the creation of trade strategies

• Work with on-trade, off-trade, marketing and customer marketing teams as needed to develop drink serves, training and deliver growth for your Brand of expertise

Build Strong Relationships

• Cultivate relationships with influential bars and bartenders around your region of influence to increase opportunities for the sales teams

• Work closely with Brand Teams, Trade Marketing and Sales to formulate and implement Trade PR plans

• Visit venues regularly to optimize BF's presence in on and off-trade (manage visit calendar)

Brand Education & Training

• Work with brand team and sales to identify training requirements

• Develop scalable training programs and engage with Signature accounts with Brown-Forman brands - aligned to field sales team

• Host/Run tastings internally and externally, delivering immersive B-F brand experiences

• Prepare & do category training aligned with Commercial team’s needs

Brand Advocacy

• Media appearances

• Serve as brand spokesperson at key Brand and Cocktail events in the UK

• Sales support for JBPs, inspiration days (on & off)

• Run bar, trade shows & selected events

Operative Processes

• Comply with all sales processes and tools

We Are Looking For People Who Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business related area or equivalent experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender

• Professional knowledge of the UK On-Trade

• Strong Business Acumen

• Previous experience in an advocacy or similar position

• Knowledge of the off-trade/ Top 4 retailer
