Meaningful work from day one
You will be responsible for managing and growing key state based business in our On Premise Channel. You will work with key accounts to understand their customer strategy and provide innovative initiatives to achieve qualitative and quantifiable business objectives. This position will also focus on building influential internal and external partnerships.
What you will experience
Key Business/Account Management
Develop effective business partnerships with key customers, ensuring our presence as the channel expert
Formulate long term business and commercial strategies to deliver objectives for Brown-Forman, Partnerships and Key customers.
Prepare and present business reviews with key customers and Brown-Forman departments.
Manage trading terms and tender process with key customers
Seek new key business with a passion to grow our footprint in the On-Premise landscape.
Internal and External Partnerships
Develop strong and meaningful partnerships inside and outside of the business
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure emerging trends, consumer behaviours and competitor activity are well understood
Partner with other internal functions to continually improve our go-to market capability by enhancing systems, process and brand programs linked to core brand strategies and activations
Account & Time Management
Build account plans that delivers both qualitative and quantifiable objectives
Plan effective objectives for key customer engagement and meetings
Evaluate business and account plans within set timings
Effective use and knowledge of CRM and Business resources
Activate and evaluate brand activations within set timings and budgets
Review sales reports to highlight areas of opportunity and concern
Analyse data - extract commercial and consumer insights to develop new strategies
General internal account maintenance
Product and Technical Knowledge
Maintain a high level of brand portfolio and technical drinks knowledge
Deliver external brand training sessions where required
Understand and recommend new concepts to the customer
Experience within the On-Premise channel
Experience in key account management position is highly regarded
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with demonstrated ability to make commercial recommendations from data and facts
Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive profitable outcomes
Outstanding collaborative approach, providing positive and enthusiastic interactions with colleagues and customers
Effective time management skills
