The role of Senior accountant is to provide support to Chief accountant in various accounting activities; to make sure that all data is properly accounting in financial system using accordingly taxation and accounting legislation; to deliver on time the correct and reliable data.
Intercompany operations :
Marketing service agreement - preparation of calculation, acts, reports, invoices
Agency agreement - preparation of calculation, acts, reports, invoices, supporting copies upon request of Finish colleagues
License agreement - BF RUS&BF Corporation: preparation of calculation, acts, reports, invoices
Secondment agreement BF RUS & BFI: review of calculation, acts, reports, invoices
MSA agreement - BF RUS&BF Corporation: preparation of calculation, acts, reports, invoices
Reconciliation of all intercompany transactions on monthly basis
Auditing and reconciliation of operations with Partner
POSM – implementing and handling control operations for usage and storing High and low value assts, review and control reports from Partner’s accounting team
Marketing service agreement revision and confirmation of calculation, acts, reports, invoices prepared by Partner
Coding and booking of accounting documentation:
On-trade, off-trade – revision, coding and posting, reconciliation with vendors, checking of correctness of the provided documentation (acts, reports etc.)
Brand marketing – revision, coding and posting, reconciliation with vendors, checking of correctness of the provided documentation (acts, reports etc.)
SGnA – revision, coding and posting, reconciliation with vendors, checking of correctness of provided documentation (acts, delivery notes etc.)
Control and verification of operations and transactions booked by AP Accountant and AP Junior Accountant.
FX revaluation – reconciliation between GAAP and Russian GAP and postings FX differences in accordance with local requirements (monthly basis).
Preparation of the calculation, backups and posting of the accruals for SAP GAAP module for month close.
Adjustments in Special Purpose Ledger in respect to local requirements
Reporting under supervision of Chief Accountant:
CIT – preparation of the registers, calculation, backups and report for submission to tax authority.
Statutory reporting – participation in preparation report for submission to tax authority.
VAT – preparation of purchase and sales book, calculation, backups and report for submission to tax authority.
Statistics – preparation of obligatory reports and submission statistic reports to Rosstat.
VAT – reconciliation of deferred tax on monthly basis.
Verification of incoming VAT invoice Journal on monthly basis.
Tax authority – reconciliation of the balances on quarterly basis.
Reconciliation of the BS accounts on FY on quarterly basis
Revision and confirmation of standard format of the contracts and addendums to them for On-trade, Off-trade, Brand expenses in line with the acting Contract Approval Procedure and financial limits.
Revision of the existing standard forms of the addendums to the Brand marketing agreements in collaboration with Legal
Preparation answers to requests from tax authority related to VAT, CIT and statutory reporting;
Participation in Internal and External Audit.
- To manage Accountant AP and Junior Accountant AP, to settle, train, control and follow his/ her goals achievement in line with Accounting department and Company goals.
Handling and updating Marketing policies, Accounting and Tax policies (in collaboration with Chief accountant);
Control of updating T&E policy and internal orders for limits.
- Other duties needed to support Chief Accountant and other ad hoc projects as may arise
5 + years’ experience in accounting (senior accountant in foreign company with experience in areas: T&E, AP, reporting to Russian regulatory)
English speaking and writing (at least upper intermediate)
IT literate, including strong knowledge of Excel
SAP, Kontur Extern, 1C, Concur, Consultant + Good knowledge in Tax and Accounting regulatory documents
Responsible, team player, with good time management skills, positive working attitude and diligent working approach, with leadership skills
