Job Description:


Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands development and identification/realization of major related opportunities

Basic Function:

  • Leads Jack Daniel’s FOB local team managing Junior BM / BM and Brand Ambassador

  • Contributes to global and regional strategy actively participating in core brand projects, adapts global strategy to local market

  • Defines and lead the local strategy development for Jack Daniel’s portfolio in Russia

  • Based on deep and rigorous analysis of available retail, competitive and consumer data, evaluates current and future opportunities in the market

  • Based on those combined with global/regional JD strategy and resources/possibilities, develops and manages short to mid-term innovation pipeline

  • Contributes to regional and global JD projects

  • As manager of key part of NAW portfolio, contributes to overall NAW thinking/strategy for Russia (incl. any consumer/customer related portfolio projects)

  • Demonstrates expertise of internal and external factors affecting local market with a special focus on consumer dynamics

  • Defines and communicates yearly/quarterly brand plans to the internal Sales organization and Distributor for best in class execution in the On- and Off-Trade

  • Effectively cooperates and communicates with the Sales and Financial/Supply Chain functions in the organization

  • Ensures sustainable delivery of expected topline results for total portfolio and each member of FOB (consumer metrics, depletions, market share)

  • Manages A&P budget for all brands

  • Manages evaluation of performance/effectiveness of brand building activities executed in the market

  • Responsible for relationship with and performance of external agencies (ATL, BTL, Digital, PR)

  • Develops effective brand training plan for internal/external audience and manages implementation by local brand ambassador

  • Ensure performance evolution and development of talent within the supervised team


  • Team management and development

  • Adaptation of global strategy and development of local JD portfolio strategy with 3-year horizon

  • Preparation and execution of Annual Brand Plan

  • Business analysis, consumer research and competitive monitoring

  • Planning, execution and evaluation of brand building activities

  • Communication with Sales Force and external representation with global and regional brand teams

  • Agency Management

Must Experience:

  • Higher Education (Marketing, Social Science, Economy field will be preference)

  • 7+ years of FMCG Marketing experience

  • Strong background of Marketing success in the FMCG industry

  • Strong Business and Trade Environment Acumen

  • Excellent leadership skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Business/Marketing

  • Understanding of Sales and Shopper Marketing

  • Strictly regulated industry will be an advantage

  • Proficient Russian speaking and writing

  • Strong analytic and strategic capabilities

  • Strong communication skills (influencing, listening, presentations, written)
