Brown-Forman Business Systems Analyst, Google & Salesforce (Remote Work Opportunity in the USA) in Nashville, Tennessee
Meaningful Work From Day One:
This team accelerates the adoption throughout the business of our existing technologies with primary focus on Google Workspace and other applications including Salesforce development.
The Business Systems Analyst will develop creative approaches that solve complex operational problems. In addition to developing new solutions, the Business Systems Analyst will proactively find ways to improve current workstreams, ensuring they are fully optimized and scalable.
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:
Analysis, development, implementation, modification and installation of medium to high complexity systems in different operational environments.
Creating processes, system documentation, testing plans, and technical specifications as well as being the primary support for those systems.
With an understanding of business and user needs, assists in recommending, designing, testing and implementing system upgrades and improvements.

With minimal supervision, partner with the business process owners and super users to understand and develop or enhance their technology requirements.
Have the capability to evaluate and assess business and user requirements then select a technology that meets those requirements and is consistent with B-F IT’s strategy and existing systems.
Responsible for the analysis, development, implementation, installation, support and testing of technologies for process improvements.
Prepare flowcharts, models, procedures, and create feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
Analyze system user requirements to define, design, and complete system configurations, enhancements, and modifications.
Create and maintain business and system process documentation, technical specifications, and test scripts while documenting test results. Ensures quality assurance of production system changes.
Act as a liaison to business clients and technology resources, coordinating and documenting the functional requirement definitions for the business area and related initiatives.
Prepare project plans to provide input into decisions about prioritizing projects and allocating IT resources.
Serve as the in-house expert on assigned technologies, business processes and end-user information delivery tools.
Maintain effective working relationships with B-F personnel and external partners.
Develop and maintain professional knowledge of new and emerging trends in software and hardware technology.
Understand the flow of data through integrations within existing systems and be able to develop enhancements or new connections.
With minimal supervision, manage or participate in division level projects/ assignments with typically a medium degree of complexity and change management components.
Follow IT project methodology, responsible for all aspects of project life cycle management and the coordination of resources across IT and within the business operating units.
Execute technology implementation initiatives, within accepted timelines, budgets and resources.
Provide ongoing support to include:
Establishing and enforcing standardizations of business operating processes, procedures and policies.
Investigate and resolve end user questions and complex problems; design, configure and document solutions, and transfer key knowledge to the business.
Monitor system performance.
Responsible for identifying, training and supporting B-F users across functions and geography.
We Are Looking For People Who:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related)
2-3 years of Information systems or business operations experience.
What Sets You Apart:
MBA or Master’s Degree in Computer Science

Knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
Knowledge of Google Workspace development tools (Google Apps Script, App Sheet, GCP) as well as Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of
ETL technology and tools
Ability to create low to high complexity Salesforce applications that utilize Salesforce best practices and are built for mobility. Intermediate to advanced skills programming Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Process Builder, and Flows
Strong organizational, time, & project management skills
Ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from functional disciplines in order to produce and optimize business solutions.
Ability to manage and/or participate in division level projects/assignments with a medium to high degree of complexity.
Ability to facilitate workshops and deliver effective presentations that are valued by the client.
Possess the skills to initiate, evaluate, develop, defend, and influence user’s adoption of new technology with solid, actionable recommendations.
Ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Comfortable with change control through environments
