Brown-Forman Product Information Analyst in Nashville, Tennessee

Meaningful Work from Day One:
The Product information Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Brown-Forman’s Product Information Management (PIM) platform (Salsify). This role collaborates with key stakeholders to prepare product data and marketing content for syndication, facilitating speed to market to the digital shelf. A critical component of this role requires being able to analyze business requirements and apply Salsify system capabilities to produce product content that is consistent and complete across retail channels and distribution partners.
What You Can Expect:
Create and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
Manage the PIM platform to ensure data is collected, structured, and syndicated accurately and efficiently.
Develop an understanding of system integrations, product hierarchies, data validation, governance, content mapping, catalog creation and management, and Enhanced Content capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain, update, and troubleshoot product listings, ensuring data is in the correct format for each channel.
Implement governance rules for user groups, permissions, and access, data model management, workflow management, and channel mappings within the Salsify Platform.
Develop subject matter expertise for Brown-Forman products, their associated attributes, the systems of record for those attributes, and any integrations between data sources.
Leverage data transformation functions to cleanse and transform data to conform to individual channel needs.
Proactively audit product and marketing data to ensure completeness and quality; identifies gaps in product content and creates plans to fill them.
Partner with end users to provide ongoing support, investigate and resolve end user questions, and troubleshoot and provide a timely response to PIM product data/system issues.
Support global cross-functional teams with issue management, sharing of best practices, and training.
Become a Salsify expert and train users and stakeholders on new and existing functionality.
Document PIM-related processes and training materials and manage the Salsify attribute dictionary.
We Are Looking For People Who:
Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years systems or related business experience; or 5 - 7 years of combined education related experience; or equivalent education/experience combination.
Strong personal commitment to continuous business improvement, and effectively collaborating and managing our business stakeholders
Experience with product data management, new item setup, and product data syndication
Able to quickly learn necessary technical tools
Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and project management skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Advanced attention to detail; capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
Ability to work within competing deadlines
Experience in data collection, interfaces and processes, strong MS Excel skills a plus
Moderate SQL skills preferred
Moderate to advanced level writing and grammar skills
Prior experience working with a PIM system, preferably in a technical capacity
In-depth experience with Salsify is strongly preferred
Experience with E-comm, DAM, Master data, and Process Design is preferred
Ability to work in a complex team environment, effectively interacting with others
Experience working across multiple levels of business and IT stakeholders.
