Position Summary:


As part of its development, Brown Forman France is looking for a very ambitious Brand Ambassador (BA) for its Scotch malts brands portfolio (Ben Riach, Glenronach, Glenglassaugh)

The BA will be the expert voice of our Scotch malts brands building long term relationships, establishing the brands and leveraging its expert role to drive trial, awareness and ultimately sales

Dynamic, with a strong relationship and autonomy, the BA will be in charge of the development of BFF’s scotch malts and create excitement around the brands with customers and consumers in liquor stores.

Organized and enthusiastic, the BA will have the taste for challenge and show initiative and common sense.

Responsibility: (Job Detail)

  • Develop and increase presence, visibility and prescription of the brands in liquor stores “Cavistes” (priority n°1) & On trade Prestige outlets (priority n°2) :

  • Build relationships with key outlets & key liquor stores owners/managers and key bartenders in Prestige outlets

  • Increase Distribution & Rate of Sale in our key outlets

  • Educate and tell our Brands territory & uniqueness

  • Do cavistes tour visits with customers sales reps

  • Conduct training and tasting sessions with main independent liquor stores managers, bartenders & partners salesforce and engage them.

  • Be support of the sales team if needed.

  • Develop brand awareness and tasting with the relevant consumer target :

  • Train & support the sales representatives, esp. « Prestige »

  • Conduct comprehensive tastings, samplings, master-classes, dinners for customers and targeted consumers

  • Prospect and build strong relationships with “whisky geeks” influencers (Bloggers/journalists) while maintaining and nurturing current relationships

  • Be the pivotal actor for limited releases

  • Gather and embed information regarding new products: launch dates, allocations, product specifications…

  • Recommend sales plan in collaboration with On-trade key account director

  • Train and support the concerned sales representatives

  • Develop sales material when needed

  • Collect for the team insights, trends and competitor’s activations to help in developing trade & marketing plans.

  • Participate in relevant Fairs & Events.

  • Organize trips to the Distilleries and be the host for French Press and Media representatives, and customers

  • Coordinate Whisky Maker and Global Brand Ambassador in-market visits.


  • Experience required

  • Experience in Wines and/or Spirits industry. Expertise in Scotch whiskies highly appreciated

  • Experience in Brand ambassadorship is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent category, brand and trade knowledge with a strong ability to identify emerging trends and insights

  • Outstanding presentation skills & ability to create links with people easily

  • Brand lover: Proven passion to live life of the luxury sector and bring our brands to life

  • Computer skills

  • Social Media Knowledge

  • Fluent French & English speaking

  • Others

  • Extensively Travel: Including nights and weekends
