Brown-Forman Digital Marketing and Media Specialist France/BeLux in Paris, France
The Digital Marketing and Media Specialist role provides an exciting opportunity to support the France & BeLux Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Manager, and partner with Brand and Advocacy teams in developing and executing the Integrated Marketing Communications strategy for France & BeLux, ensuring all of our Digital Marketing efforts ladder up to our goals and objectives.
At its core, this role will support in improving the implementation of communication plans and evaluating the results through leveraging global processes & tools.
This role assists in the implementation of global & market specific communication programs in France & BeLux and identifying optimal content per platform / touchpoint.
This role also includes looking at our Owned media such as websites, social media pages & CRM and will require “hands on” maintenance of market assets with the support of agency partners.
You will be expected to develop and support local agencies in the execution of social media, influencer & email campaigns. Leveraging existing assets and authoring original content where required.
The partnership between the IMC team and Brand Teams is key. The FR & BeLux Brand Teams lead creative briefs, agency briefings, idea evaluation as well as overall agency collaboration. They are the final approvers of brand strategy, communications development and creative output.
Meaningful Work From Day One
This role will help Brown Forman pioneer innovative Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) thinking in a digital world. You will work with FR & BeLux Marketing Teams, FR Key Account & Sales teams, Global IMC Center of Excellence Team & Global IMC Teams to achieve excellence in the following 3 core areas:
Market Digital Support:
Support the IMC Manager in the execution of the IMC strategy, whilst looking at how to elevate day to day digital communication, processes and ways of working
Working closely with brand, advocacy teams and local media & creative agencies, you will be responsible for advising on how to do this efficiently in line with the Brown-Forman communication principles, Loi Evin & data privacy regulations
Shared focus on Paid/Owned/Earned media ie. pluri-media campaigns, social platforms, websites, search, CRM etc.
Implement day to day digital activities from marketing teams i.e. online trade promotions, data collection, user generated content, influencer marketing activations whilst managing alignment with key stakeholders
Campaign Measurement & Optimisation:
Leverage data sources such as campaign metrics, search metrics, competitive data to build a full picture of campaign response and maximize future learnings
Partner with the CoE on campaign measurement, evaluation and optimization whilst building a thorough understanding of the available supporting data, tools and metrics
Ensure a robust “test and learn” plan is implemented across the portfolio to continually improve our understanding of the best channel & content mix to drive the best results relative to brand strategy & campaign objectives
Content Management & Optimisation:
Implements and, where necessary, adapts the Global Content Strategy and Global Content Calendar in collaboration with Marketing & Sales teams
Work closely with FR stakeholders across Brand & e-Commerce programmes to leverage global content as much as possible to increase efficiency and reduce creative development and agency fees
When applicable, represent local market needs in asset development, always considering impact on platform effectiveness & efficiencies
Share and communicate global and market content assets, guidelines for content calendar, timings and process
Works with FR Brand Teams & Global IMC CoE to ensure communications are aligned with digital and media compliance guidelines as well as inclusive and responsible marketing best practices
What You Bring to the Table
Education: Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent)
Certifications: Broad based business education or specific educational qualifications in areas such as Marketing or Advertising
Candidate with 3+ years experience working primarily at client side, or agency (media planning, Social Media) in the field of digital marketing
Ideal candidate will have experience working across the FR market media landscape and strong knowledge of FR market media channels
Demonstrated experience across media, social, VOD, search, website, data & analytics, content, e-commerce and CRM
Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand growth strategy
Evidence of complex project management and use of analytical skills and tools within a communications environment
French native and English fluent
Analytical, collaborative, creative self-starter, at ease navigating ambiguity and uncertainty, with a ‘can do’ spirit, passion for digital innovation and passion for brand and real appreciation and understanding of Luxury/prestige, experiential marketing.
