Brown-Forman Senior Business Systems Analyst-SAP (Remote) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This position is an essential resource for the implementation of business systems which support direct and indirect procurement, indirect tax and expense processing. Directly interface with process owners and super users in the development of business requirements. Serve as in-house expert on enterprise-wide technologies (e.g. Coupa, Kofax, SAP Concur and OneSource tax engine), business processes, and end-user information delivery tools.
What You Can Expect
Analyze business systems to determine effectiveness. Identify inadequacies, inefficiencies, and problems, and recommend solutions. Develop system specifications. Coordinate application software development where necessary. Assess business partner/function needs and/or business process requirements; analyze structure and flow of work and data that support needs; evaluate possible solutions and implement and/or recommend solutions. Manage business partner/function relations and expectations.
Lead enterprise-wide projects/assignments with a high degree of complexity and change management components. Act as the liaison to key business clients and technology resources, coordinating requirements definition for multiple strategic initiatives.
Responsible for understanding all Business Systems and Processes in support of Direct/Indirect Procurement, Indirect tax and Expense processing. Be an essential resource for the implementation of these systems (e.g. Coupa, Kofax, SAP Concur and OneSource tax engine) and integrating with SAP.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of business and system process documentation, technical specifications, system testing and documenting test results, and quality assurance of production system changes. Establish and enforce standardization of business processes and technologies within IT and among operating unit business users.
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure project success and user needs are identified and met. Participate in/on a variety of meetings, groups, and/or committees to communicate and confer about process analysis of existing procedures and systems, determine cost/benefit and complexities of new processes and projects, prepare for testing, discuss the roll-out of new projects and software upgrades, and/or discuss other applicable issues.
Enhance and maintain current enterprise systems by supporting the business community and rolling out enhancements and upgrades.
What You Bring to the Table
7 or more years of relevant work experience in IT applications, including 4+ years of Business Analyst experience
Understanding of the core functions of Procurement, Invoicing and Supply Chain processes
SAP configuration experience in Materials Management module (e.g. Procure to Pay)
Ability to quickly learn existing business processes and combine knowledge from functional disciplines in order to produce optimal business solutions.
Ability to lead and coordinate assignments with functional and technical staff, lead system-related projects and initiatives (such as upgrades, adoption, and implementation of new functionality, integrations and business process changes) including implementation, review, and testing prior to go-live.
Ability to manage division level projects/assignments with a high degree of complexity.
Ability to facilitate workshops and deliver effective presentations that are valued by the client.
Possess the skills to initiate, evaluate, develop, defend, and influence users’ adoption of solid, actionable recommendations.
Strong experience with process design & requirements gathering.
Strong experience with system integrations particularly between SAP and cloud based applications
Extensive knowledge of cloud architecture and change control through environments
Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, schedules and risks/issues.
Excellent client interaction and communication skills (written and verbal). Must be able to facilitate meetings to gather requirements and present solutions.
Strong communication (written & verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions across all levels of the corporation, including system users, senior management, technical personnel and consultants
