Brown-Forman Asia (B-F Asia) is one of the operational units of the Brown-Forman International division. Asia presents one of the largest opportunities for Brown-Forman globally and is expected to continue to be one of the most significant growth contributors to the company. With Korea as one of the key markets, B-F Asia is composed of 19 countries with 100+ employees distributed across offices in 10 key mega-cities.
This position will be responsible for the development of localising the brand strategy and its implementation. You will be tracking through all marketing tools and resources in consultation with the Marketing Manager and internal stakeholders. Your role will be to drive the growth and development of brands within the B-F Korea portfolio by building a strong position of super premium products and to accelerate growth of our Jack Daniels range.
Crucial to the role is to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders. This includes Sales, Finance and Supply Chain team in Korea, Regional and Global brand teams, Marketing and PR agencies and other suppliers/business partners.

Brand Management & Planning
Lead the overall strategy and implementation for B-F super premium brand in consultation with the Marketing Manager.
Support the Marketing Manager – contribute to develop strategy and activity implementation
Contribute to prepare the annual Marketing plans across the portfolio, collaborating with the Sales team
Lead preparation of marketing activities in line with annual marketing plan by translating the long term strategies into the short term, tactical plans and activities with and to deliver fiscal year objectives along with the budget needed for implementation.
Lead the briefing, development and approval process for any local creative or global creative adaptation for B-F super premium brand.
Lead the implementation for new product development (NPD) to the market.
Support to manage the Brand P&L’s investment lines (tracking A&P based on budget guideline) with maximizing efficiency.
Supervise effective implementation of marketing activities, competitive price positioning and complying with brand equity guidelines
Leadership & Communication
Collaborate with the Sales team in Korea to ensure the Marketing plans are appropriate and adaptable to different channels and account segments.
Manage the Marketing agency partners to ensure that briefings and deliverables are meeting the company’s objectives.
Liaise with agency partners in the design and production of marketing communications materials, including digital, main communication and related materials.
Provide ad hoc support on special projects as needed.
Strategy & Insights
Seek, monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities and build strong consumer/category/trade insights that underpin brand strategies..
Leverage key processes, frameworks and resources to understand customer, consumer, channel, campaign insights for more informed decision making & planning
Implement new processes and learnings as training opportunities provide.
+7 years of experience in Marketing with +3 years as a brand manager
Experience in managing global brands
Experience in eCommerce and Digital Marketing
Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
Excellent command of English and Korean
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration
Experience from Alcohol Beverage / FMCG industry
