Meaningful Work from Day One
This position will have overall responsibility for Marketing and Trade Marketing activities in Korea. You will use your Marketing, Brand Management, Trade Marketing and leadership skills to effectively drive the growth and development of brands within the Brown-Forman Korea portfolio. As a member of the Korea Leadership Team, contributes to the development of the business and organisation goals.
What you will experience
Brand Management & Planning
Prepare and own the annual Marketing plans across the portfolio, collaborating with the Sales team and in consultation with the Regional Marketing Director and Korea General Manager.
Lead, coordinate and champion the conceptualization & implementation of Marketing activities
Manage the Brand P&L’s investment lines (tracking both A&P and other items within budget guidelines)
Lead the planning process and timing for new product development (NPD) to the market.
Leadership & Communication
Provide strategic input, sharing best practice and unlocking Asia growth pillars as a part of the Korea Leadership team
Lead the communication with Sales Managers to ensure the Marketing plans are appropriate and adaptable to different channels and account segments.
Lead the coordination and implementation of Trade Marketing and brand activities
Develop business relationships with customer and trade partners to understand the channels, ensure field-based activities are executed with excellence
Manage the Marketing agency partners
Liaise with agency partners in the design and production of marketing communications materials, including digital, POSM and related materials.
Continuously update forecasts, plans and all information requirements within internal reporting systems.
Provide ad hoc support on special projects as needed.
Lead, coach and grow direct reports
Strategy & Insights
Seek, monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities and build strong consumer/category/trade insights that underpin brand strategies..
Leverage key processes, frameworks and resources to understand customer, consumer, channel, campaign insights for more informed decision making & planning
Implement new processes and learnings as training opportunities provide.
Minimum 8 years marketing experience
Strong people management and leadership experience
Experience within multinational company, managing global brands
Strong ecommerce and digital; marketing capabilities
Bi-lingual skills (English & Korean fluency)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration
Experience within trade marketing
Liquor industry or FMCG industry is highly regarded
