Brown-Forman Trade Marketing Manager in Seoul, South Korea

Job Responsibilities:

Marketing & Sales Integration

  • Support to develop channel segmentation and channel strategies via closely working with the sales team in consultation with the marketing manager

  • Support to set the target to achieve the excellence in physical availability aligned with portfolio/channel strategy

  • Translate key Brand Strategy & Initiatives into field sales priorities and customer / channel plans

  • Use shopper insights and retail data to identify key customer & channel opportunities to build brand awareness, trial & penetration - through brand advocacy, customer promotions, in-store visibility etc

  • Develop customer promotions & evaluate post campaign performance

  • Oversee execution of key marketing platforms/initiatives

  • Manage & coordinate merchandising material and provision for Sales team implementation

  • Support customer review & new listing presentations and business cases

Gather on ground competitive intelligence & oversee tracking of physical availability measures

  • Manage POS & gift set development, logistics & ensure implementation standards at store level

  • Responsible for Trade Marketing budget across all brand portfolios and channels

Leadership & Communication

  • Build strong working relationships with Brand Marketing team and Sales team to ensure that marketing plans and tactics are appropriate for field based brand building activities

  • Manage the Marketing agency partners to ensure that briefings and deliverables are meeting the company’s objectives

  • Coordinate and oversee the work of Trade Marketing team members

Provide ad hoc support on special projects as needed

Strategy & Insights

  • Seek, monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities and build strong consumer/category/trade insights that underpin trade marketing strategy

  • Leverage key processes, frameworks and resources to understand customer, consumer, channel, campaign insights for more informed decision making & planning

  • Implement new processes and learnings as training opportunities provide

Required Experience & Education:

Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);

Experience:

  • +7 years of experience in Marketing including +3 years in Trade Marketing

  • Experience in managing a team

  • Experience in managing global brands

  • Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills

  • Excellent command of English and Korean

Preferred Experience & Education:

Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent);

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration

  • Experience from Alcohol Beverage / FMCG industry/Off-trade
