Brown-Forman E-Commerce Manager - China in Shanghai, China


The E-Commerce Manager China has the overall responsibility of managing our e-

Commerce channel as well as developing strategies and specific channel plans to drive

profitable growth in line with our vision within E-Commerce. This role will also strive to

ensure we achieve our collective commercial goals across all components of the China


Business Development and Management:

  • Meet and exceed annual volume, value, distribution and market share objectives of all brands across E-Commerce channel

  • Work closely with Commercial Manager, Marketing department and Finance functions on developing business and portfolio strategies, yearly budgets and quarterly projections

  • Manage pricing, trade terms, product mix and price structures to ensure we meet and exceed profitability targets

  • Represents the company to make B-F top share of mind for Key Partners in E-commerce

  • Develop new business partnerships in E-commerce

  • Recommend actions to adapt to changes on a proactive basis

Business Analytics and Insights

  • Assume responsibility of drawing conclusive data from e-commerce sales analysis and formulate corrective actions and recommendations if required

  • Keep the company informed of changing business, political and market conditions and be alert to key competitor activities, via effective market intelligence gathering and networking

  • Effective forecasting and projection of sales and add value to business planning cycles

  • Provide Commercial Manager with regular business status reports encompassing sales, channel and brand development in E-Commerce Strategic Planning

  • Identify opportunities and seek new initiatives to maximize sales and enhance customer journey

  • Develop operation programs and analytical tools to effectively deliver growth and analysis for the cause and effect of results

  • Drive inbound & conversion opportunities at every consumer touchpoint

  • Agile workflow to be at the forefront of digital trends/ inventory

Organizational Development

  • Introduce and implement tools and processes to ensure continuous performance management

  • Share & adopt best practices, acts as a strategic thought partner for E-Commerce initiatives and projects


  • University degree

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in e-commerce

  • Strong strategic and analytical skills

  • Driven and Result-Oriented

  • Highly effective communications and negotiations skills

  • Fluent in Chinese and English

  • Demonstrate excellence at both hands-on execution and high-level strategic altitudes
