From a portfolio perspective, the Asia region is largely led by our flagship Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, presenting a large opportunity for our Super Premium portfolio of American Whiskeys and Single Malt Scotches.
Meaningful work from day one
This position will lead the Emerging Asia region (Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indochina & Guam) and provide strategic direction in achieving our portfolio strategy. This position will play a pivotal role in accelerating the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands, with a strong focus on our Super Premium opportunities.
You will be managing the strategies and initiatives to win at point of purchase across Off Premise, On Premise and E-Commerce channels, and partner with General Manager / Market Managers to support commercial initiatives and cross functional planning. In addition, you will also lead efforts to build capability across a matrix team of Marketing and Trade Marketing managers, and collaborate with Digital & Insights teams to ensure brand tracking, data analysis and learnings are utilised in optimising planning & campaign execution.
What you will experience
Lead annual Brand & Country planning process for Emerging Asia - ensuring local markets align with Global Brand Plans, Regional Asia and commercial priorities
Build mental and physical availability throughout the region through BRM, portfolio management, drinks strategy/ advocacy and occasional relevance
Provide guidance to markets as well as identifying opportunities across the region to unlock scale
Support local market initiatives and program calendar through adoption of global and regional best practice
Identify, initiate and lead initiatives to unlock regional synergies such as regional Media planning & buying model
Lead key projects with global & regional stakeholders
Partner with Digital and Insights teams to identify research & insight opportunities - leveraging key processes, frameworks and resources to understand customer, consumer, channel, campaign insights for more informed decision making & planning
Own the Brand Expense process and planning for the region; implementing key reconciliation and redeployment of aligned resources
Lead and develop the team of Marketing and Trade Marketing Managers
Thought leadership and partnership with Regional Marketing Leadership Team and Country managers
Enhance cross functional collaboration to deliver Country Plans and sales targets
Represent Asia as part of Global forums and elevate Asia’s profile across Global Brand Teams and key stakeholders
SEA experience - either leading an in market team or part of a Regional team
Min 8+ years of developing brand and category strategies with strong ATL experience
Circa 3 years+ in a management / leadership role
Experience in FMCG industry
Digital & E-Commerce experience
Marketing or business related tertiary qualification

Previous role managing multiple stakeholders locally, regionally and globally is advantageous
Knowledge in medica landscape and agency management is also beneficial for this position
