Meaningful Work From Day One

This role will be responsible for supporting the commercial team in all topics related to IBP and Demand Planning for all Brown-Forman (BF) brands for all Regional customers. You will collaborate with the Regional commercial teams and customers to develop and improve demand forecasts using statistical analysis, as well as collaborating with the supply planning and local supply chain teams. This role will also manage a 3PL warehouse in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Analysis

  • Establish monthly sales forecasts through collaboration with commercial team and customers

  • Maintain google based monthly forecast files by customer

  • Load shipment forecasts into SAP APO

  • Conduct monthly/quarterly forecast reviews with commercial team to: provide trend analysis, obtain market insights, update SKU alignments and successfully launch new products

  • Challenge the forecast updates by customer (considering budget, category and market trends, new product launches, etc.)

  • Participate in monthly IBP meetings with corporate planning, commercial, and local supply chain teams

  • Regularly prepare relevant key supply chain metrics for B-F’s EI leadership team and the regional supply chain to track levels of business support and operational effectiveness/excellence.

  • Support the SKU allocation process for new, Value Added Packs, and limited SKUs, plan quantities with commercial teams, manage orders and inventory, and communicate plans and specific country requirements to production, demand planning, and the brand teams

  • Support new product development and ensure awareness of upcoming activity and deadlines through multiple stakeholders

3PL Warehouse Operations

  • Manages the research and resolution of customer order discrepancies with Singapore 3PL Warehouse

  • Responsible for maintaining current customer information profiles on regulatory requirements, special shipment instructions, etc

  • Analyse order patterns for process improvements (order smoothing, maximum load shipments, review customer inventory- for rush order requests, etc)

  • Manages the research and resolution of order discrepancies with warehouse or production personnel via SAP QM Module, including root cause analysis of discrepancies received, working closely with internal partners to troubleshoot the issue, and developing and implementing a corrective action plan

Project Work

  • Support local projects with supply chain impact during conception, implementation, and execution, such as NPD or Portfolio Changes, Packaging Changes, RTC changes, Trade Contingencies, etc

  • Laise with corp./reg. Supply Chain teams to timely obtain appropriate support and guidance

  • Support Global Supply Chain projects on an ad hoc basis.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Supply Chain, Business or related discipline

  • Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years planning or related business experience; or 4+ years of combined education and experience in business, finance, supply chain management, or related discipline

  • Fluent in English

  • Prior experience in Demand/Supply Planning review and leading S&OP meetings

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply standard analytical concepts

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, analyse, and successfully meet objectives within a complex, changing environment

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

  • Demonstrated organization skills with attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of internal and external contacts with diverse cultures

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Experience & Education:

  • Education: Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Business or Supply Chain

  • Certifications: APICS

  • Experience: Prior experience in wine and spirits or luxury FMCG industries

  • Experience with Financial / ERP system - SAP preferred

  • SAP/APO Experience

  • MBA

  • PMP Certification

  • APICS certification
