Meaningful Work From Day One
Manage the process of product additions and changes to maintain the information integrity required to support efficient and reliable manufacturing operations at multiple external manufacturing sites.
Leverage the functionality of the SAP system to optimize current and future production capabilities.
Act as liaison between various functional groups to assure SAP integrity is maintained and to assure accurate standard costs are easily accessible.
Independently running the basic finance and accounting processes consisting of procedures related to the Accounts Payable process for BFN and Slane production related invoices.
How You'll Know this Role is for You
Master Data:
Manage all SAP activities associated with product additions and changes at multiple manufacturing locations.
Protect data integrity, which is absolutely critical to SAP functionality, through system and procedural controls. SAP activities include but are not limited to: creation and revision of Master Recipes, creation of Material Master Data and Engineering change management.
Maintain components and ingredients in SAP for multiple sites
Act as coordinator between the different sites and all the internal departments (i.e., Packaging, Finance, Supply Chain) to insure data integrity Liaison between BFN and the co-packers in case of material issues, provide new materials and change requests information to co-packers
Work as extension of the SAP support group to assist in system changes and documentation and communication of new procedures and processes to the appropriate functional areas (EMO, Production Finance, etc.)
Together with Supply Chain coordinate the gift packing process with co-packers, set up new BOM’s, and create work instructions.
Accounts Payable Specialist:
Process PO and non-PO based vendor invoices in complete, correct and timely manner using Coupa and SAP
Review and verify all invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment.
Be the first contact for vendor queries and research, analyze, and resolve vendor issues in a timely, accurate and professional manner
Identify root cause analysis of invoice processing and posting errors and resolve errors in a timely and accurate manner
Work together with other departments at B-F where needed in support of this function in order to solve any invoicing issues
Develop and maintain SAP invoice processing system skills to act as an Accounts Payable SME (subject matter expert).
Act as an Accounts Payable SME (subject matter expert) related to the various Coupa purchasing & invoicing processes, providing support to other Coupa users.
General:
Identify improvement opportunities to further increase efficiency for both the Product Engineer and Accounts Payable processes.
Provide general accounting support (i.e., monthly closing activities)
What You Bring to the Table
BS in Business or related field, plus 1+ years experience in manufacturing and/or business systems
The ability to complete project work within budget and time constraints
Has strong attention to detail
Is proactive, curious and eager to learn
Has both AP and Master data background but this position is also an exciting opportunity to develop or grow your skills.
