Brown-Forman Quality and EHS Specialist in Stein, Netherlands
Working closely with the Quality, EHS and Product Development Manager, you will drive and maintain quality excellence with our production partners. You will maintain our EHS standards and will produce and blend our concentrates for production. Working as part of a multi-functional team this varied role provides a great opportunity for learning and growth.
Meaningful Work From Day One This role will focus on Quality and Continuous improvement at our Co-Packers by supporting the QESH and PD Manager in developing and rolling out quality programs and strategies across our co-packers. Partnering with our co-packers to, implement all BF quality assurance programs, ensure product quality and food safety. Support EH&S Goals and compliance for the Stein Operations. Back-up for planning, coordination, and control of processes for the concentrates production.
What You Can Expect
Working with our Quality Manager, you will maintain and drive excellence in our quality programs and operations with our co-packers, including quality manuals, QC results, non-conformances and corrective actions
Support Projects and initiatives related to new packages or packaging materials.
Process and follow up on vendor, consumer and market complaints and as required ensure that corrective actions are taken and adhered to.
Responsible for Sensory and Analytical Control, ensure Co-Packers are trained in BF sensory and analytical methods and provide support to the BF Marker and Finished Product Sampling Programs.
Partner with co-packers to ensure good manufacturing processes and adherence to local food standards, including management of critical control points, housekeeping and sanitation and calibration of equipment
Support site EH&S including identifying regulatory requirements and developing and implementing programs to ensure ongoing compliance.
Supports audit processes for both internal B-F audits and carrying out audits of co-packers, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Share responsibility for concentrate production activities including cConcentrate blending and oversee the production process.
Support BF Master Data by communicating and checking any technical packaging materials changes with our co-packers.
What You Bring to the Table
A BS degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years experience in the food or beverage industry in a similar position.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
