Brown-Forman Business/Sales Development Manager in Surry Hills, Australia

Meaningful Work From Day One Business/Sales Development Manager - Sydney, the key responsibilities of this role is to grow and nurture our people, execution of our channel strategies whilst collaborating and enhancing commercial partnerships with our biggest On Trade and Retail partners. Critical to this role is to have strong leadership experience, passion for growing people and our brands and ability to influence and grow partnerships internally and externally.

This is an influential leadership role, based in Sydney,leading a passionate and strong sales team to deliver on our 10 year strategy within the market to Make it a Double! Working cross functionally within a Field Sales Leadership Team you will set strategic direction within the On Premise and Retailers customers you are responsible for. We are looking for someone who is able to motivate and lead a passionate sales team to deliver on your States P&L, whilst accelerating and building strong and trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What You Can Expect

  • Lead a team of On Premise and Retail field sales professionals

  • Partner and grow commercial key state based On Premise and retailer groups

  • Coach to develop capability of direct reports

  • Lead execution excellence of field based sales and marketing programs

  • Build influential internal and external partnerships

  • Deliver on your state quarterly and yearly performance targets and manage set budgets

What you will bring to the table

  • Minimum five years experience in a selling environment

  • 5 years people management

  • Experience within on premise channel preferred

  • Strong People management capability

  • Experience in managing key accounts

  • Tertiary qualification in a business related field

  • Drinks Industry experience
