Meaningful Work from Day One
The role of Channel Marketing Executive is to support the development and implementation of consumer and trade customer activation plans and events, specifically focussing in the “On-Premise” channel (bars, restaurants, clubs). Reporting to the Channel Marketing Manager and working with the wider Channel Marketing team, you will develop creative and innovative consumer plans & promotions that deliver on Brown-Forman objectives across all of fabulous brands.
This position will provide a commercial approach to resource allocation and investment while driving alignment between Brand Marketing & Sales objectives to deliver best in class solutions for On-Premise customers.
What you will experience
Responsibility for the implementation and delivery of promotional and experiential activation within the on-premise channel, in collaboration with the Sales, marketing and the Insights team. Includes venue theming, promotions, visual installations and the sourcing and creation of branded assets.
Ensuring all activations are within brand guidelines.
Manage budgets to optimize our investment effectiveness for each program- including sourcing competitive pricing from third party suppliers.
Foster a collaborative relationship with the Sales & Marketing functions (Channel Marketing sits between the two) to drive alignment between internal stakeholders.
Manage the agency briefing process for all activities from start to finish, including budget management, execution, creative design, experiential, production, digital amplification, and merchandising.
Establish and develop strong business relationships with key customers, suppliers and agencies through effective planning, communication, and collaboration.
Embrace change and continuously strive to optimise processes and ways of working.
Evaluate all activations to determine the level of impact and effectiveness of each program against a pre-determined and mutually agreed set of objectives.
Monitor competitor activity and ensure that Brown-Forman maintains a superior presence and competitive edge, delivering on the businesses vision “Nothing better in the Market”.
Support the Channel Marketing Managers with the annual planning process including strategy and market research.
2+ years’ experience in marketing, channel marketing, customer marketing, or brand management.
Excellent communication and project/ time management skills.
Ability to build strong relationships, influence, and work collaboratively with others.
Experience in the advanced skills in the range of Microsoft office/ MAC software.
Track record of creativity, flair, and a willingness to innovate by proactively seeking out new customer solutions.
Experience in the Liquor or FMCG industry is highly regarded however those with marketing experience in other industries may also apply.
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Business, or a related field advantageous
