Meaningful Work from Day One
The role of Channel Marketing Manager (On-Premise) will lead a small team in developing and executing our Channel Marketing plan for the dynamic On-Premise Channel. As an integral collaborator between our sales and marketing teams, you will work cross-functionally to integrate business objectives into the On-Premise channel and drive availability of our dynamic drinks portfolio.
This position is full time, based at our National Head office in Surry Hills, Sydney.
What you will experience
Lead a team of high performing Channel Marketing Executives, responsible for their development and capabilities and providing feedback and coaching.
Drive the Brown-Forman vision and strategies and leading the clear communication of channel marketing plans
Implement and foster a brand building culture with a focus on continuous improvement
On Premise Channel Marketing and Planning
Lead the development, briefing, approval and execution of the On-Premise Channel Marketing plan to drive physical availability across the Brown-Forman portfolio
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams on customer and brand strategies and incorporate into the On Premise channel plans (including consumer insights and drink trends)
Collaborate cross functionally on pre and post evaluations of programs and initiatives and socialise key findings
Monitor and report competitor activity within the On-Premise channel
Internal and External Partnerships
Develop strong and meaningful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders (including agency partners)
Participate in partnership with the sales team in customer meetings and interactions, spending time in the trade as much as possible
Collaborate with internal partners to continually enhance systems, processes, tools and brand programs
Strong experience within channel/trade marketing, within the liquor industry
Experience and passion for the On-Premise channel and deep understanding in how drinks are sold and building brands with consumers
Ability to develop and manage robust stakeholder relationships
Success in project management and bringing programs to life
Solid influencing skills and creative mindset
Degree qualification in business, marketing or related field
