Our Australian team of 150 people, work in regional and city locations throughout the country, with offices in Sydney (Head Office), Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
Your new role:
Reporting to our National Events & Sponsorship Manager, this position will autonomously manage multiple event projects throughout the year and contribute to the execution of the National events and sponsorship strategy and plans. You will also manage administrative tasks and processes and take on additional projects as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and executive a number of large scale and mid-tier events
Manage the procurement of event merchandise, materials and resources
Identify areas of opportunity to improve the execution of events and sponsorship
Develop strong internal and external partnerships and collaborate with other functions to enhance our event execution
Oversee macro Events & Sponsorship calendar
Manage finance and administration tasks such as purchase orders, inoices, stock requisitions, inventory, asset management
Contribute to national event and sponsorship strategy, event briefs and execution plans
Manage event planning and review cycle
Take on special projects as required (such as asset production and management)
Around 5 years experience in an event related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Tertiary qualifications in business related field is advantageous
Recognised event management qualification
Exceptional time management skills with ability to manage multiple demands autonomously
Strong planning, budget and project management skills & experience
High level communication (both verbal and written)
You will be a passionate brand ambassador at all times. It is essential that you are flexible in extensive travel and to work nights / weekends during events.
