Scope of Position:

• Manage and grow key state based on premise business

• Understand Brown-Forman and customer strategy

Key Competencies / Responsibilities:

Key Business/Account Management

• Develop effective business partnerships with key customers, ensuring B-FA is recognized as the channel expert

• Formulate strategies and plans with key customers to deliver objectives

• Prepare and present business reviews with key customers

• Use insights to aid in compelling sell stories

• Manage trading terms and tender process with key customers

• Drive profitable outcomes

• Seek new key business

Internal and External Partnerships

• Develop strong and meaningful partnerships inside and outside of the business

• Construct meaningful business dialogue during customer discussions

• Communicate in a fluid and compelling way to strengthen partnerships

• Spend time in the trade outside of traditional business hours and undertake travel as required

• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure emerging trends, consumer behaviours and competitor activity

are well understood

• Partner with other internal functions to continually improve On Premise go to market capability by enhancing

systems and process and brand programs

Territory & Time Management

• Build territory plans that delivers both qualitative and quantifiable objectives

• Pre-plan a minimum of 3 objectives for each sales call

• Efficiently and effectively manage time to deliver objectives

Sales Administration

• Evaluate territory and account plans within set timings

• Activate and evaluate brand activations within set timings and budgets

• Review sales reports to highlight areas of opportunity and concern

• Analyse data - extract commercial and consumer insights to develop new strategies

• General internal account maintenance

Product and Technical Knowledge

• Maintain a high level of B-FA brand portfolio and technical drinks knowledge

• Deliver external brand training sessions where required

• Understand and recommend new concepts to the customer

• Understand basic drink making processes and skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must Requirements:

• Experience within the on premise channel

• Minimum five years experience in a professional selling environment

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in key account management

• People leadership capability

• Tertiary qualification in a business related field
