Manage and direct the ( 150 person) organization in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands(ANZPI) to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of business assets. Achieve sales and profitability targets by responsibly building B-F brands within the markets . Lead strategic projects to grow the business through portfolio, pricing, route to market, resource allocation, and disciplined decision making.

This leader will play a key role in setting the desired tone for the organization by persistently seeking to include others who bring different perspectives or experiences to the work at hand.
As a publicly traded company, in a highly competitive industry, results matter in the short and long term. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the annual business plans for the region, and responsible for ensuring the longer term business strategies for the markets within the region meet or exceed the B-F 150 ambitions for ANZPI.
Establish the strategic direction of ANZPI in partnership with the ANZPI Leadership Team and communicate that direction and vision to employees to gain their commitment and ultimately business results.
Maintain a key focus on sustaining and improving the culture of Brown-Forman ANZPI.
Establish accountability across the functions of ANZPI to ensure alignment synchronization with the business direction. Partner with the functional managers of the leadership team to ensure awareness and support for key initiatives and the fulfillment of matrix management in various roles.
Partner with Human Resources to effectively lead succession planning for key leadership roles.
Ensure that ANZPI constantly focuses on developing a brand building culture in everything that it does.
Ensure that ANZPI adheres to the requirements of B-F financial reporting and all other business reporting requirements.
Ensure that ANZPI assets and contracts are managed effectively and responsibly. While maintaining a keen focus on consumers, maintain personal contacts with key customers to ensure that ANZPI interests are addressed, and that decisions are made with due consideration of our position in the market. Ensure that customers are listened to, valued and provided with optimum service and trading terms.
Be attuned to internal and external expectations in regard to responsible marketing of the company’s products and be an industry leader.
Represent Australia, New Zealand & Pacific Islands on key industry groups and engage external stakeholders as required to advance interests and protect our rights.
Ensure, through the Supply Chain process that all B-F standards and quality requirements are adhered to.
Bachelor's Degree plus 10-15 years in a senior leadership role in the FMCG or liquor industry
Proven ability to manage and lead large number of employees
Strategic thinker with multi brand portfolio experience
P&L management expertise
Ability to travel as needed for business, 30-50 %
Masters qualifications in a related discipline.
Strong experience with and knowledge of the Australia and New Zealand business environments.
Knowledge of the liquor market including industry structure, key account groups and retail chains, and production and supply chain.
