What can you look forward to?
As our Senior Insights Manager, this position will be responsible for developing meaningful insights to assist our brand and business decisions. You will manage our consumer/shopper research plans and facilitate learning opportunities with marketing and sales teams to develop our growth with consumers.
What Makes this a Great Opportunity
Effectively manage quantitative/qualitative/desk research studies (both on-going and ad-hoc), including: issue identification, briefing, agency selection, results facilitation and embedding insights into strategy across all brands
Deliver impactful and engaging, presentations that leverage insights from multiple data sources
Identify consumer/shopper growth opportunities
Work with Global Marketing teams to ensure alignment and leverage global research, systems and processes where appropriate
Highlight knowledge gaps within the business
Ensure Marketing and Sales teams are fully and accurately utilizing data through reporting and facilitating training
Guide the business toward consumer/shopper centricity, strategic thinking and continuous improvement
Management of the research budget
Manage quarterly & annual market summaries, bringing in multiple data sources to provide an insightful view of the category, trends, competitors, opportunities, and issues
Bring together market and brand insights for internal reviews, category reviews and global visitors
Collaborate with brand teams on project success criteria and the post evaluation of marketing activities.
People management and development of 1 direct report
Key contributor to the annual planning process, including leading the Strategy & Ideation component
Build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders globally, locally and externally
Effectively manage research agencies
What you bring to the table
Circa 6+ Year’s experience with Consumer/Shopper research
Demonstrated success in applying consumer data insights to business needs
Workshop facilitation skills
Advanced knowledge of consumer research protocols
Demonstrated success in communication and collaboration across functions
Knowledge of Statistical software used for analyzing consumer data
Experience leading or coaching a small team
Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline
FMCG industry experience
Knowledge of scan retail data is advantageous
