Your new role:

You will be responsible for leading a small team who provide robust market insights to assist branding and business decisions. You will facilitate workshops with marketing, sales and channel marketing teams gain a deeper understanding in issues and opportunities and develop profitable growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Insights team, providing thought leadership and direction and team development

  • Manager consumer & shopper research programs, including briefing, agency selection, results facilitation

  • Leverage insights from multiple data sources, identify consumer/shopper centric growth opportunities and deliver engaging growth orientated presentations

  • Work with global marketing teams to ensure alignment and leverage global research, systems and processes

  • Facilitate brand strategy sessions and workshops aimed at identifying key strategic priorities to develop brand plans

  • Bring consumers and shoppers to life, detailing key market trends and external factors that may impact channel and marketing plans

  • Build robust relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders

  • Budget management

About you:

  • Around 5 years experience within consumer / shopper research within FMCG industry

  • Demonstrated success in strategy delivery and applying consumer data insights to business needs

  • Previous experience in leading a small team

  • Strong workshop facilitation skills

  • High level communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functions

  • Advanced knowledge in consumer search protocols

  • Strong numerical and commercial acumen

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related disciple

  • Experience in liquor industry desirable
