Our Australian team of 150 people, work in regional and city locations throughout the country, with offices in Sydney (Head Office), Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

Your new role:

This position is responsible for supporting the commercial needs of Brown-Forman Australia by ensuring inventory cover is aligned with agreed target levels. Your role will develop enduring relationships with our in-house and external stakeholders, and ensure the optimum mode of transport for shipments / transfers is selected to minimise costs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage national stock levels within agreed targets. Review inventory cover bi-annually.

  • Liaise with 3PL and warehousing with regards to expediting containers and airfreight.

  • Ensure all imported and locally manufactured PO’s are closed by month end.

  • Schedule container loads within mandatory road weight limit restrictions.

  • Production scheduling for locally manufactured products

  • Select road/rail for interstate stock transfers managing movements to keep costs within budget.

  • Order base stock and liaise with Inventory to ensure on time delivery of locally co-packed Gift Packs and Job Lots.

  • Review stock on hand by Expiry date requesting fresh production for short coded stock.

  • Publish Demand & Supply metrics for Global Statistics.

About you:

  • Solid experience in supply / demand / logistic planning

  • Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience with SAP APO within Supply Network Planning

  • High level numerical and analytical skills

  • Strong route-cause analysis and problem solving ability

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment

  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Skills

  • Experience within the FMCG industry is advantageous
