Meaningful Work From Day One

Human Resources Specialist/Business Partner is responsible for delivering HR services, operations, projects and tactical support to the BF Taiwan organization. The position takes part in the change management process in terms of operational and tactical responsibilities such as research, projects implementation and then post-assessment phases.The position plays a vital role in elaboration and execution of HR strategies and acts as a single point of contact for the employees and line managers in the business units.

What You Can Expect

  • Acts as an HR business partner to Brown-Forman Taiwan organization

  • Represents the HR function across stakeholders and within the HR community to work towards its objectives

  • Leading of recruitment processes in partnership with Global Talent Acquisition team

  • Managing and leading personnel administration area

  • Partners with Regional People and Organisational Development team on driving growth and development needs of the assigned business units, including individual, team and organizational development:

  • Supports performance management activities, overseeing and monitoring the employee development plan process

  • Ensures uniform and equitable application of organizational policies and procedures including investigation and resolution of employee issues, if applicable.

  • Partners with other HR groups (Compensation, Benefits, Talent and Performance Management, and Employee Experience teams) to ensure complete and accurate processes are enlisted to support employees’ needs.

  • Partners with Payroll/Accounting on preparation and checking of the monthly payroll

  • Manages HR related projects for Asia as assigned

What Exactly Are We Looking For?

  • Taiwan Labor Law knowledge is a must

  • University Degree in business or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in independent HR position, preferably in generalist function

  • Ability to exercise good judgment, discretion and maturity in responding to requests for data, resolving problems and to effectively handle confidential information and materials.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Corporate and Region management, as well as employees across functions.

  • Proven ability to influence via great facilitation and coaching

  • Strong organization skills with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Fluent English and Traditional Chinese (additional language such as Korean or Japanese would be advantageous - but not essential)
