Meaningful Work From Day One
Provide general and preventive maintenance and repair of all production equipment, systems and facilities. Support new equipment and machinery installation, facilities upgrades / redesigns and give input on new equipment and facilities upgrades. Work overtime, including on-call weekend shifts, and across shifts as needed to support seamless operation.
What You Can Expect
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems and manufacturing equipment such as motors, pumps, conveying systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
Leverage work order system to track maintenance of the operation in order to identify replacement timelines and manage workflow and productivity
Maintain and repair facilities systems, including compressed air, boiler and fire suppression
Provide preventative maintenance and problem resolution for barrel handling equipment as well as general maintenance for all air-handling units
Partners with other members of the maintenance team to complete all repairs and project work on time and on budget
What You Bring to the Table
Associates Degree or equivalent vocational training or work experience
Demonstrated experience in both single and three-phase electrical systems
Fluency in basic mechanical and electrical terms, equipment characteristics, and facilities maintenance terms
Strong technical aptitude including proficiency in reading technical drawings and diagrams
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage through issue resolution.
Able to physically meet demands of manufacturing environment which may consist of standing, kneeling and lifting 50 - 70 pounds
Able to pass drug & alcohol screening, physical abilities test, and other testing as required.
Ability to anticipate roadblocks and issues that could derail a job
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work on-call weekend shifts as scheduled
Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm

The Hourly Rate for this position is $31.00 with $0.50 shift premium
