Brown-Forman Woodford Reserve - 2nd Shift Processing Operator in Versailles, Kentucky
Support 2nd shift processing operations, including entering and removing barrels from warehouses, filling and dumping barrels and processing liquid including bulk, by the barrel, and personal selections in collaboration with the reguage team, lead processing operator, and Personal Selection Operator. Will operate a forklift, cut whiskey tanks and record information in accordance with operating procedures. Inventory management responsibilities including but not limited to accurately logging inventory movements, executing cycle counts, tanker load outs, and entering batch dumps into SAP. Must maintain a high degree of flexibility to support overtime work, vacation and off-shift coverage, as determined by the business needs of our multi-shift operation.

Safety/Environmental
Promote accident prevention by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards, actively participating in all required training, identifying, communicating and eliminating potential hazards and maintaining consistent communication with Health & Safety Manager and EHS Committee
Adhere to all PPE guidelines, including wearing steel toed/slip resistant safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses and gloves (as required)

Collaborate with quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards, collecting and recording all quality data as required
Clean and maintain all work areas and all pieces of equipment daily following cGMPs
Perform regularly scheduled housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities
Participate in monthly quality department audits
Productivity
Monitor available tanks in bottling department and partner with Plant Production Leader (PPL) and Lead Processing Operator to determine when to begin a transfer
Collaborate with the Lead Regauge Operator and PPL to determine the number of barrels to be dumped to achieve the proper formulation; this includes aiding in the determination of when to dump to fill bulk tanks, normal processing tanks, or to supply tankers
Perform all analytical testing on the processing batches to ensure the quality of the tank; record all results in the designated data storage system; collect samples as needed based on the current process
Gauge all tanks to the proper proof
When needed, aid in the movement of barrels including entering and removing from warehouses, unloading trucks, or stacking BYO or new make barrels
Perform tasks associated with processing liquid, including entering and removing barrels from the warehouse
Collect samples of barreled whiskey
Perform all other duties as assigned
Must Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and have attained a high school diploma or equivalent
Proficient at performing simple mathematical calculations (add, multiply, subtract, etc.)
Proficient technology skills
Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize and execute tasks
Strong attendance and work performance
Able to perform physically rigorous tasks under varied environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.), including but not limited to pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying weight of at least 100 pounds; frequent walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching upward/downward, crouching, and ascending/descending stairs/ramps/ladders; entering and exiting rick warehouses, etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Preferred Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science or engineering discipline
Experience with SAP and Google platforms
Previous experience in distilled spirits industry and/or laboratory environment
Previous forklift experience
