Brown-Forman Woodford Reserve Bar Lead in Versailles, Kentucky
Meaningful Work From Day One:
Responsible for daily oversight of the Cocktail Bar and Mixology Program
at Woodford Reserve Distillery. This position plays a key role in building the brand through offering a welcoming, informative and enjoyable visit to the Woodford Reserve Cocktail Bar Experience. The Bar Lead is primarily responsible for supervising the bar team, creating schedules, assisting guests and managing inventory. The Bar Lead will be part of the Woodford Reserve Homeplace Team and will report directly to the Woodford Reserve Distillery Bar Manager.

Operate under a hospitality-first mindset, creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive experience for all visiting guests.
Provide a memorable and responsible brand-driven cocktail experiences
Daily operational oversight of the cocktail bar and bar team including providing team with daily rotations, tasks and responsibilities
Leads shift daily huddles and inform the team of daily outlook and events.
Abides quality and safety controls with Woodford Reserve Distillery policies, including a particular emphasis on Brown-Forman responsibility initiatives
Assist in maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for guests visiting the Woodford Reserve Distillery Cocktail Experience
Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Woodford Reserve brand story and product portfolio, engaging guests in conversation about our brand
Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of the seasonal cocktail menus and limited promotional cocktail offerings
Host guests in all iterations of Mixology Class offerings
Host guests in a guided tasting of Woodford Reserve products, as needed
In concert with the Bar Manager, develops training plans and oversees training progress for team members in hosting Mixology experiences and bar operations
Coordinates with the Bar Manager toward preparation of supplies, garnishes, etc.
Assist with setup and breakdown of bar and cash drawer over multiple locations
Attend/support/work specialized events, as needed
Demonstrate a standard of super premium customer service and overall customer experience to the bar team in leading by example
Support the overall Woodford Reserve Distillery experience, as needed
What You Bring to the Table:
High School Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2 years Restaurant/bar/distillery attraction experience
Proficient problem solving and customer service skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to diffuse situations and resolve conflict in a warm, hospitable manner
Must be able to successfully coach and motivate a team.
Must have basic computer knowledge and ability to learn and operate computerized equipment and systems
Work schedule includes weekends, must have willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry from the ground to waist height up to 50 pounds.

The Hourly rate for this position will be $20.00 per hour.
