Brown-Forman Woodford Reserve Labeler Operator in Versailles, Kentucky
This position will work interchangeably with the other labeler operators to ensure seamless operation of this key element of the bottling line and must be able to work overtime and flex between shifts as needed to support continuity and productivity. When not operating the labeler, this role will perform other critical functions of the bottling operation, including but not limited to uncaser operation, forklift operations, QC, as well as changeover functions. This position will follow standard operating procedures documented and supplied by the company to ensure the correct packaging materials are applied to the bottle. The labeler operator may also be required to perform line start-up duties, reporting for work one hour before shift start, as needed. The Labeler Operator will communicate needs and requirements to team members and set up machines as required for package changes. This position requires the documentation to be completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Safety/Environmental
Promote accident prevention by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards, actively participating in all required training, identifying, communicating and eliminating potential hazards and maintaining consistent communication with Health & Safety Manager and EHS Committee
Comply with all EHS procedures as described by the company and OSHA
Adhere to all PPE guidelines, including wearing steel toed/slip resistant safety shoes, hair net or ball cap, beard net, hearing protection, safety glasses and gloves, as required

Train, coach, and guide Bottling Operators in the tasks required to support Bottling Operations
Quality
Partner with the quality team to monitor the quality of production end products, operational performance, quality and area sanitation.
Verify accuracy of Labeler setup, label selections and following direction of Process Order / Bill of Material
Complete housekeeping and sanitation audits, per schedule
Clean and maintain all work areas and all pieces of equipment daily using best housekeeping practices
Support Continuous Improvement pillars and team
Support, implement, and develop SOP’s to support operations
Ensure printed labels are approved for use
Productivity
Follow standard operating procedures for operating, changing over and verifying all part numbers associated with the labeler.
Provide troubleshooting support and corrective action, partnering with mechanics when appropriate, including autonomous maintenance.
When not operating the Labeler, provide support for continuous improvement projects, hand-crafting of specialty packages, housekeeping, inventory control, materials handling, quality audits, shipment preparation, and other duties as required to assist the plant leadership in department operations.
Ensure product quality and specify needed equipment maintenance through the work order process.

Must Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age and have attained a high school diploma or equivalent
Strong troubleshooting skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (add, multiply, subtract, etc.)
Proficient technology skills
Ability to do frequent walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching upward/downward, crouching, and ascending/descending stairs/ramps/ ladders.
Ability to push and pull over 100 lbs.
Ability to enter tight and restricted areas.
Must wear steel toed safety shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses, hair/beard net, and gloves as necessary.
In good standing from attendance (Documented Verbal Warning or below) and performance perspectives
All training & paperwork must be up-to-date
