Brown-Forman Supply Chain Manager Thailand in Thailand

The Supply Chain Manager has a key function to support the Thailand Country Manager, local team and Emerging Asia/ IMENA Supply Chain Manager in managing Thailand Local Economy market. This position involves a variety of fundamental disciplines including Supply Chain and 3PL warehouse management that are critical to the success of the market, which is expanding with a lot of opportunities.

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

  • Support financial targets by proactively manage any issues related to supply, stock, warehouse and logistics

  • Develop strategies for managing supply risk through identification, assessments and prioritization of risk in supply area and constraint planning

  • Assist in the creation of standardized reporting and workflow requirements

  • Take a Lead role in monthly forecast review meeting with Thailand Commercial Leaders to develop a consensus forecast, identify forecast gap and changes

  • Analyze and confirm forecast demand and input figures into system

  • Participate in monthly demand planning calls with Louisville Planning team

  • Manage replenishment orders to 3PL warehouse based on latest demand and inventory level

3PL Warehouse & Inventory Management:

  • Monitor performance of 3PL Customs Broker & Warehouse in Bangkok, in terms of inventory accuracy, on-time delivery of inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, documents & data accuracy

  • Lead contract renewal process, manage logistics cost and negotiate favourable rates and terms

  • Coordinate VAP Repack & labelling activities with 3PL warehouse

  • Manage overall inventory holdings and stock turns

  • Monitor inventory level to ensure continuous supply. Present risks, scenarios and proposals to Commercial Leaders

  • Develop and Implement inventory strategies which cater for markets needs

  • Monitor Slow moving/ aged stock, collaborate with Commercial Leaders for depletion plan

  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and yearly stock take

Logistics & Order Fulfillment:

  • Lead SC Specialist to monitor orders and shipments, facilitate communication between 3PL warehouse and distributor partners on all logistics matters to ensure timely shipment of goods

  • Portfolio development - responsible for completing new brand, product and SKU introductions / rationalizations, including any special pack/label requirements

  • Manage POS and sample shipments

  • Manage the diversified importing requirements including documentation, certification, analyses, samples, strip stamps and all other related requirements

  • Monthly calls with Louisville Operations group to review all open replenishment orders and all logistics issues

People Development/Leadership

  • Ability to grow and develop direct report(s), focusing on teaching them to work toward solution-oriented initiatives and advancement of the supply chain logistics

  • Serve as strategic thinker, helping to project outward on ways to grow and simplify the complexities of the supply chain/logistics

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and to teach the same for direct report
