Brown-Forman Junior Finance Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Scope:

This role will provide competitive advantage to the BF Poland finance team providing financial and commercial analysis and insights. This person will work directly for Finance Manager Poland. Junior Finance Analyst will work very closely with

Marketing and Commercial functions.

Basic Function:

  • Perform analytical reviews of financial models to provide insights to support sales and marketing team decisions.

  • Is responsible for the maintenance and development of Customer P&L Planning software.

  • Supports month-end process.

  • Provide analytical support for long term forecasts and new brand initiatives, by working alongside the Sales and Marketing teams to model potential scenarios.

  • Provide varied analytical support and control in respect of brand marketing budgets, quarterly projections, monthly actual results, and commercial decision making.

  • Supports implementation of new IT software and tools.

  • Responsible for integrity of data, variance analysis and management reports.

  • Support preparation of presentations, analyses and documents relating to the Budgets and Projections by delivery of necessary analyses and data.

  • Provides a backup for Credit Controller function.

Must Experience:

  • Higher education

  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance

  • Experience with computer applications in accounting, budgeting and valuation techniques (In particular advanced PC skills incl. Excel and Power Point including VBA, SAP including Business Warehouse)

  • Working with foreign currencies, exchange rates, and conversion factors.

  • Fluency in English language in every day work.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the wine and spirits industries or FMCG

  • Experience in managing major projects to completion

  • Degree, preferably Finance & Accounting or Economy

Skills:

  • Fluent English speaking and writing

  • MS Office applications (highly advanced Excel with VBA, Access, Power Point)

  • IT literate

  • Strong analytics

  • Strong work organizing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make operational decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects to completion by agreed deadlines

  • Project Management

  • Communication at all levels of the organization as well as externally

  • Team working skills

  • Ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment
