Brown-Forman Junior Finance Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

Scope:

This role will provide competitive advantage to the BF Poland finance team providing financial and commercial analysis and insights. This person will work directly for Senior Finance Manager Poland. Junior Finance Analyst will work very closely

with Marketing and Commercial functions.

Basic Function:

  • Supports month-end process.

  • In direct cooperation with Senior Finance Analyst maintains and develops Customer P&L Planning software.

  • Gives input to Sales and Business Planning Process: Analysis of Sales Forecast, Meeting Slides Preparation.

  • Calculates profitability of new products

  • Compile information and prepare reports for Marketing and Commercial teams to support decision- making

  • Contributes to financial reporting, business planning, budgeting.

  • Provides control of Sales, General and Administration Expenses (SGA)

  • Responsible for integrity of data, variance analysis and management reports.

  • Provides compliance checks

Must Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Finance

  • PC skills incl. Excel and Power Point

  • Fluency in English language in everyday work

  • Secondary school including high school certificate (Matura exam)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with SAP

  • Working with foreign currencies, exchange rates, and conversion factors

  • Basic knowledge of MS Access and VBA

  • BA degree, preferably Finance & Accounting or Economy,

  • Experience in the wine and spirits industries or FMCG

  • Experience in managing major projects to completion

Skills:

  • Fluent English speaking and writing

  • MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point)

  • IT literate

  • Strong analytics

  • Strong work organizing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make operational decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks to completion by agreed deadlines

  • Team working skills

  • Ability to perform and adapt in a changing environment
