Meaningful work from Day One
The Business Development Executive - is a sales and partnership building role within the Western Australia Brown-Forman Australia (B-FA) business. The key responsibility of this role is to manage and grow a territory of On and Off premise customers whilst having a sound understanding of Brown-Forman and the customers strategy. Critical to this role is to have commercial acumen, passion for our industry and ability to influence and grow partnerships, applying an entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
What you will experience
Business Value Creation - creating value with our business partnership, communication value proposition for customers and driving profitable outcomes.
Collaborate with customers to develop a deeper understanding on their decisions, providing insightful industry, category or brand information
Maximise profit contribution from accounts and territory, communicating commercial strategies and presenting insights to increase customer engagement
Maintain a high level of our brand portfolio and technical drinks knowledge
Deliver external brand training sessions, recommending new concepts to customers
Build territory plans with quantifiable objectives
Pre-plan sales calls and seek new business at all times
Evaluate territory and account plans and brand activations.
Review sales reports and identify areas of opportunity or concern
Analysing data from commercial and consumer insights to develop new strategies
Operate with highest level of professionalism at all times, and having open communication on emerging trends, consumer behaviors and competitor activity
Solid understanding of both the on premise (bars, pubs and clubs) and liquor retail channels.
Experience within a selling environment
Self-motivated and with a desire to exceed expectations
Strong communicator with proven ability to influence others
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
