Meaningful Work From Day One

Manage and lead Brown-Forman Process/Data Analysts to create and maintain product master data required to sell and ship Brown-Forman Spirit & Wine brands worldwide. Ensure consistency of process regarding the Route-to-Consumer (RTC) related SAP master data among Brown-Forman operations including material definition and international listings. Ensure consistency of product data for own importation/distribution markets by supporting stock transfer data and cost standards. Ensure global processes are aligned with requirements needed to support Brown-Forman’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

What You Can Expect

  • Manages the RTC Master Data Management team in the development and documentation of global business SAP processes in conjunction with IT, Finance, Credit, etc. to ensure consistency of processes across global business units.

  • Remains informed of GS1 standards for US and international markets, serving as the in-house expert. Provides guidance to the RTC Master Data Management team and other stakeholders regarding compliance of those standards.

  • Leads master data creation and maintenance activities to ensure data is fit for purpose by managing data quality in order to support the selling of Brown-Forman products related to innovations, redesigns, market requirements, and gift packs.

  • Leads activities to support BF own importation/distribution markets with SKU setup and costing.

  • Works with Production Accounting to ensure products are properly costed, and supports the annual cost estimate update process to initiate the new fiscal year.

  • Prioritizes work to ensure RTCs, innovation projects, and gift programs are supported adequately to minimize disruption and optimize setup.

  • Serves as the primary point of contact within Brown-Forman for all matters related to data governance regarding RTC Master Data.

  • Manages, leads and participates in testing, training and support of the new & existing distribution entities.

  • Supports Supply Chain on technical/master data and process issues in day-to-day operations. Backup for security approval requests for Supply Chain integration employees needing access to SAP Supply Chain transactions.

  • Participates in a variety of projects including new or changing RTC initiatives, acquisitions, new or changing operations, and other strategic initiatives.

  • Maintains productive relationships with Product Governance, Product Engineering, and other BF teams to support IBP objectives.

  • Works collaboratively and cross-functionally with members of the ERP IT Team to ensure applications and business processes are supported.

  • Works with the Manager of Technical and Process Infrastructure Management (TPIM) to align RTC master data processes with the global SAP Supply Chain architecture.

  • Carries out other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with at least 5 years Supply Chain business with technology involvement; or 10+ years combined education and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with MDM solutions such as SAP, IMB, Oracle, Microsoft, SAS, Informatica, etc, that is relevant to sales and distribution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to accomplish established goals, including the ability to productively motivate and lead cross functional teams without direct line responsibility.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and leadership abilities, including the proven ability to interact productively with multiple management levels.

  • Demonstrated champion for inclusion, fostering an environment that values diversity and encourages trust, openness, and mutual support that naturally enables team members to contribute to their full potential.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to respond timely and effectively to multiple inquiries from a variety of internal and external contacts utilizing Gmail and other modes.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving, mathematical skills and analytical capabilities to determine origin of data and making independent decisions from data.

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time, including international.

What Makes You Unique

  • MBA or Masters Degree business related

  • APICS or similar certification (eg; CPIM, CLTD, or CSCP).

  • Project management experience leading mid-range to large projects.

  • Demonstrated business analysis skills along with the ability to coach others in developing skills including; process modeling, root cause analysis, and gap analysis.

  • Demonstrated knowledge proficiency with the SAP Materials Management and Sales and Distribution modules.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the SCOR model.

  • Proven knowledge of the production process and multi-plant logistic operations involving high level shipping activities plus the corresponding knowledge customer service related activities.

  • Experience in the Beverage Alcohol industry.
