Brown-Forman Temporary Payroll Processor in Louisville, Kentucky
This position will be covering a leave, and expected duration will be 3 months- April though July. The role will be based in our Louisville, KY headquarters following a hybrid schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Meaningful Work From Day One:
The Temp Payroll Processor position is responsible for supporting the successful processing of the US Weekly payroll/ Canada Semi payroll and other payroll projects. The Payroll Processor will work collaboratively with the Lead, Global Payroll Analyst and Sr. Global Payroll Tax Analyst supporting payroll activities and projects to deliver accurate and complete payroll to our US workforce. This role will work with the weekly timekeepers to ensure accurate/timely payroll processing of the weekly colleagues and issuing off cycle checks in the event requested. This position will ensure proper Workday transaction processing and issues resolution to support on-time and accurate payroll to employees.
What You Can Expect:
Process US Weekly, Bi Weekly & Canada Semi Monthly Payrolls
Apply analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve time tracking and payroll processing issues
Manage Payroll Ticket system by assigning tickets, working tickets and closing once resolved
Support timekeepers on using Workday Time Tracking, Absence, and reporting tools
Process Off Cycle payments requests for all pay groups and pay frequencies. Process Credit Union Requests and Updates
Use integration in Workday to load, validate, and reconcile EIB’s for earnings and deductions such as Live Well, Virgin Pulse, ESPP, tuition, liquor allowance, shoe allowance, Fund for The Arts and Metro United Way
Load Garnishment orders and wage attachments timely into third-party vendor systems
Work with vendors to respond to inquiries and track responses in a timely manner
Assist employees and HR partners to resolve outstanding issues
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll related data and ensure information is provided only to authorized individuals
What You Bring to the Table:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications with an emphasis in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, including advanced features (v-look ups and pivot tables) Payroll Processing (in house) experience, preferably with multiple pay groups, hourly employee population. Union Contract Experience a plus
Exceptional customer service skills and high level of professionalism and courtesy in highly charged situations
Possess the highest level of integrity, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Able to work independently, execute responsibilities, and meet all deadlines with planning, organization, and accuracy in a high volume, deadline-oriented environment
Strong mathematical skills with ability to research, analyze, and resolve complex time and payroll issues
Strong oral and written and communication skills. Ability to communicate in a precise and clear manner across all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills to solve problems with tools and technologies. This includes having a technical aptitude and continuous improvement mindset
What Makes Your Unique:
Working knowledge of Workday, ADP, Ceridian, SAP, or PeopleSoft HCM systems
Prior experience with Google Applications or Microsoft Business Suite
